Special Relativity relations, though derived for a light signal, are used on physical objects, that too with conditions, to declare phenomena of length contraction and time dilation in motion. Ad hoc selection of frame - stationary sometimes and moving at other times - for imposing conditions further worsens the confusion. The same relations produce just the opposite results when applied without, or with change in, conditions.
On the other hand, Einstein's derivation and application in his famous book are marred by mistakes and the derivation is limited to parallel observation of distance i.e. the directions of motion of the light signal and the moving frame are the same i.e. along x -axis.
Presenting solution to the intra-contradictions and expanding the scope of relations, the book offers the following.
1. It presents a straight derivation for the same case of a moving light signal as done by Einstein but without resorting to any special conditions which would call for deviations and is, therefore, free from any objections.
2. To remove objections arising out of use of formulae (derived for a light signal) for material particles, changes in the postulate and derivation have been suggested, which would make the formulae applicable to other-than-light objects too.
3. A detailed exercise on transformation of distance/length and time to show as to how unwise it is to routinely mention length contraction and time dilation in motion, without stating the conditions.
4. The formulae have been given more generalized form by taking obliquely moving frames i.e. the observation frame moving in a direction oblique to that of the moving light signal or of the event from origin. On substituting the obliquity angle to zero, one gets the existing formulae.
5. The special relativity relations have been derived graphically based on Minkowski's 1908 paper on Space Time and also from the proposed postulates mentioned at sr.no.2 above.
6. Apart from above, the book is replete with many new concepts and analyses.
