DescriptionIn this course, you will learn and get a better understanding of the funding used in the United States Federal Government. You will learn how long appropriations are available to use and what you are to use these dollars for. You will also learn where appropriate where you can't use these dollars. You will learn some of the different types of operations maintenance (OM) funding elements. With this funding, students will learn that these as well as other funding is available to different branches of the United States military such as operations maintenance funding where you have Operations Maintenance, Army (OMA) available for Department of the Army requirements and Operations Maintenance, Navy (OMN) available for Department of the Navy requirements. Students will learn more on foreign military sales funding such as who funds these dollars. Students will learn about funding types such as procurement, research, development, test and evaluation (RDTE) funding, foreign military sales (FMS) funding, working capital funding, military construction and military personnel funding. This material will help students that support the United States Federal government and those interested in learning a basic foundation and understanding of these funds. Students will understand how long each appropriation is available to use.
