Description
Victoria Fulbright is a mental wellness coach who holds a Diploma in Applied Psychology and specializes in Solution-Based Counseling. Her academic qualifications also include a graduate degree in Philosophy and extensive training in relationships and communication. In her free time she volunteers at a Canadian crisis line, helping people who need first psychological aid. This course is informed by her experience of working in the mental health field as well as her own lifelong inputs.This course is for those who want to take charge of their life and get unstuck, forming new useful habits and getting rid of the ones that drag you down. During this course, you will learn some practical skills to solve problems and maintain a more balanced state of mind.The main goal of this course is to teach the students how to help themselves because, often, what seems to be an insurmountable issue can be resolved through smart thinking and with the help of a positive mindset. This course was written with the view of solution-based psychology practices; hence, you will see diagrams and printouts that will require you to develop your own tactics and strategies. As a result, you will come out of this practice with a sharper focus on the issues that concern you and step-by-step plans on how to go about resolving them.The course will discuss the reasons for feeling stuck and lacking motivation and focus. In addition to that, we will study how the way we think affects us - psychologically and physically. You will get practical tips about jumpstarting your motivation and boosting your mood as well as revisit some useful ideas about self-care.Last but not least, we will delve into the dangers of negative thinking and ways of overcoming a negative outlook on life. Ultimately, the aim of this course is to give my students a jumpstart into taking better care of themselves and their close ones.
